Islamabad: The process of receiving applications from companies wishing to organize pilgrimages to Iran and Iraq is continuing.

According to Radio Pakistan, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Muhammad Umar Butt, stated that only those Ziaraat Group Organizers authorized by the Ministry will be eligible to conduct Ziaraat visits. The Ministry has initiated the scrutiny of these organizers, successfully completing the security clearance of 585 companies.

The spokesperson further revealed that 95 new companies have submitted their documents during the recent expansion. While applications from existing companies will be accepted until the 31st of this month, new companies are allowed to apply until the 10th of next month.
