Srinagar: In Indian illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has emphasized that the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Indian government’s increased repression cannot suppress the Kashmiri people’s legitimate demand for a United Nations-mandated plebiscite.
According to Radio Pakistan, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas stated in Srinagar that the ongoing wave of state terrorism, including arbitrary crackdowns and suppression of dissent, reflects the Modi regime’s efforts to quell the spirit of freedom among Kashmiris. He affirmed that despite decades of suppression, the people of Kashmir remain united and steadfast in their struggle.
The APHC has called on the international community to urgently address Indian actions in IIOJK and to exert pressure on New Delhi to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with relevant UN resolutions.
Meanwhile, posters featuring Pakistan’s Army Chief, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Pakistani flag, and images of the J-10C fighter jet have appeared in various areas of the occupied Kashmir Valley. Titled ‘Operation Bunyanum Marsoos’, these posters commend the Pakistan armed forces for their response to Indian aggression and their support for the Kashmiri struggle for self-determination. The posters assert that Kashmiris remain resolute in their pursuit of complete freedom from Indian occupation.
