Islamabad: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted an operation based on intelligence reports and arrested the ringleader and two operatives of a foreign drug network. The operation successfully targeted a Nigerian drug network involved in the supply of cocaine and methamphetamine, commonly referred to as ice, to students in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
According to Radio Pakistan, the ANF seized a significant quantity of drugs during the operation, including eight hundred and sixty grams of cocaine capsules, cocaine packets, and methamphetamine. The authorities also confiscated a vehicle that was being used for the distribution of these narcotics. This operation marks a critical step in curbing drug distribution networks targeting the youth in the region.
