Analysts Hail PM Shehbaz for Highlighting Indian Aggression Against Pakistan at SCO Summit

Islamabad: The 25th SCO Summit actually marks SCO is coming out to take its rightful place in global security geo political and geo strategic environment of the world. It is critical time for SCO because its presidency is with China which is gearing up to take over global leadership and at the same time, the world at a state of flux. I think that under SCO, it is time for Eurasian region and Asia to rise because it both make up world’s one fourth population and 40% GDP; actually the 21st century is the century of Asia led by Eurasian powers China and Russia. Basically, the SCO has come of the age and flexing its muscles through strengthening multilateralism, encouraging the multipolar world through dialogue, discussion because main theme of this summit is the shared future of the mankind. Statement by President Xi Jinping is very visionary about securing the world with focus on dialogue and discussion. Now SCO is offering an alternative system to the world visibly to replace the existing one manipulated by th
e West. Now India has also learnt a lesson and aligned towards its traditional ally Russia instead of the US. Russia and China are also strategic partners at the moment and have announced to establish SCO bank which is much needed. A large number of countries are already trading through currency swap with China and Russia instead of dollar.

According to Radio Pakistan, Dr. Muhammad Khan stated that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) has its own mandate and agenda, with all summits held under this framework. Participants of the 25th summit delivered speeches on key issues including economic challenges, climate change, and the world’s unipolarity. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the SCO’s vision on counterterrorism and extremism, specifically addressing aggression by Pakistan’s eastern neighbor. Pakistan, having faced terrorism and extremism, urges global recognition and assistance in its campaign. Additionally, Dr. Khan highlighted India’s water aggression against Pakistan and stressed the n
eed for SCO to develop mechanisms to assist climate-affected countries.

Dr. Khan further remarked that terrorism is being exported from Afghanistan, necessitating clear steps from SCO to curb this issue. The Pahalgam false flag operation was also discussed, with the recent SCO Defence Ministers’ conference refusing to include it in their joint declaration, despite Indian efforts. The global community has recognized India’s hostile stance against Pakistan, signaling a need for India and Afghanistan to promote peace.
