Analysts Hail Pakistani Security Forces for Successful Operation Against Fitna al Khawarij

Islamabad: Analysts have lauded the Pakistani security forces for their successful operation against the militant group Fitna al Khawarij. Defence Analyst Dr. Abdullah Hamid Gul remarked that the Pakistani forces have effectively neutralized the enemy, with the impact of their actions resonating as far as New Delhi. He highlighted the ongoing operation, Azm-e-Istehkam, as a significant effort towards stabilizing Pakistan, and praised the armed forces for their intelligence-based operations and sacrifices in combating threats.

According to Radio Pakistan, Dr. Gul emphasized that India’s aggressive tactics on Pakistan’s eastern borders stem from its inability to confront Pakistan directly. He referenced a recent incident involving US President Donald Trump, who, in the presence of the new Indian ambassador, mentioned the downing of seven Indian fighter jets by Pakistan. Dr. Gul also pointed out that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has halted the purchase of Russian crude oil under US pressure, attributing this to India’s inconsistent foreign policies. He expressed optimism about forthcoming economic developments from Saudi Arabia and criticized India for its dual strategies involving the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and investments in Afghanistan.

Brigadier (R) Said Nazir, another defence analyst, provided insights into the conflict with Afghanistan. He accused Afghanistan of initiating conventional warfare against Pakistan by attacking posts along the Pak-Afghan border. In response, Pakistan targeted terrorist training camps and hideouts associated with the Indian-Afghan nexus and Fitna al Khawarij. Brigadier Nazir noted Afghanistan’s violation of a 48-hour ceasefire, which led to further distrust. He criticized the Afghan Taliban for their lack of control over commanders who align with Khawarij and for attempting to push terrorists into Pakistan, escalating tensions.

Brigadier Nazir emphasized the necessity for decisive action against terrorists, asserting that Pakistan will continue to combat threats within its borders. He further stated that the Afghan Taliban regime lacks international recognition due to its insincerity towards its own people.
