Islamabad: Pakistan and Iran concluded a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance bilateral trade. It is a positive development to gain mutual benefits. Now Pakistan is making strides on the diplomatic front as in yesterday's 'Perspective' program we discussed Pakistan's agreement with Bangladesh for promoting bilateral trade relations and today we are discussing the Pakistan-Iran MoU, four areas have been identified in the MoU including increasing the tune of bilateral trade, visa facilitation especially business visa and others. Iran has made commitments to reduce business visa fee. It may increase people to people interaction. Regional cooperation is very important and initiatives can lead to shared benefits for economic prosperity in the region. According to Radio Pakistan, four specific areas were highlighted within the MoU, aiming to boost bilateral trade, facilitate visas, particularly for business purposes, and other areas of cooperation. Iran has committed to reducing the fees for business visas , which may encourage greater interaction between the two nations' citizens. These efforts underscore the significance of regional cooperation, which can result in shared economic benefits and foster prosperity throughout the region.
