Analysts Hail Government’s Strong Resolve to Root Out Terrorism from Pakistan

Islamabad: The incumbent government is committed to root out monster of terrorism from the country through collective efforts of the nation and the armed forces of Pakistan. Unfortunately, Pakistan has been victim of menace of terrorism since the beginning of current century. Our brave armed forces have been actively pursuing the terrorists and till 2017, our armed forces had rooted out this menace from restive areas through Operation Rah e Nijat. Afterwards, our forces launched Operation Rud ul Fasad against the proxies of hostile nations which were active against Pakistan. The US along with other international forces had failed in Afghanistan; however, resilient Pakistani nation and Pakistan forces have successfully overpowered the terrorist organizations and proxies of hostile countries. Unfortunately, by 2021, we got a government in Afghanistan which proved to be more hostile towards Pakistan than the previous Afghan governments. Afghan Taliban regime started nurturing terrorists along with Indian RAW aga inst Pakistan. In Doha talks, Taliban committed that Afghan soil would not be used against any country but they failed to come up to this commitment. Therefore, we see an unending terrorism coming from Afghanistan towards Pakistan. Terrorists are being looked after by Afghan, Indian and Israeli intelligence agencies. They are providing logistics, financial support as well as weapons to terrorists against Pakistan. Unfortunately, international community is not taking any action against Afghanistan, India or Israel for harbouring terrorism against Pakistan. India tested Pakistan's muscles by undertaking a misadventure in May 2025, but learnt a unforgettable lesson from brave Pakistani forces and people of Pakistan. We are continuously fighting against terrorism for last two and half decades therefore evil forces will have to surrender to our brave and professional forces. Afghan Taliban regime was brought into power in 2021 purposefully for using them against the will of Afghanistan. I think that the US and int ernational forces could not achieve a single objective for invading Afghanistan in 2001. These objectives were to contain China, keep an eye on Russia and Iran as well as to target Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, a Defence Analyst, emphasized the government's and security forces' unwavering commitment to eradicate terrorism in Pakistan. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed this commitment, recognizing that terrorism undermines national interests and objectives. Malik highlighted the importance of prioritizing national development over political affiliations. Legislative actions in parliament demonstrate national unity against terrorism to the international community. Although significant victories were achieved under the national action plan, terrorists found refuge with the Afghan Taliban interim government. The regime's alignment with adversaries necessitates a united front against terrorism, transcending political interests. Malik suggested leveraging favorable international and regional dynamics to pressure the Afghan Taliban regime to cease supporting terrorism. Friendly nations like Turkiye and Qatar have attempted to persuade the regime towards peace but faced challenges. Ma lik proposed that China could play a crucial role in urging the Afghan interim government to prioritize justice for regional prosperity and progress.
