Analysts Hail Brave Forces for Rendering Unprecedented Sacrifices in Operations Against Terrorists

Islamabad: Analysts have commended the courageous efforts of Pakistani forces following a recent encounter with terrorists in Bajaur, despite the tragic loss of personnel. According to Radio Pakistan, Gul emphasized the role of the Pakistan Army in countering terrorism, while questioning the effectiveness of local and provincial administrations. He advocated for the establishment of dedicated terrorist courts to expedite the judicial process. Gul also raised concerns about the misuse of US arms left in Afghanistan and criticized the Taliban for failing to uphold security commitmen
ts as per the Doha Accord. He noted the presence of terrorist leadership in Afghanistan and called for concrete actions to eliminate these threats.

Brig. (R) Waqar Hassan lauded the sacrifices of Pakistani soldiers who lost their lives in South Waziristan during operations aimed at defending the nation. He highlighted successful military efforts in Bajaur to clear the area of terrorists and reiterated the civil and military resolve to combat Indian-backed threats in the region. Hassan pointed out Pakistan’s strategic leverage over Afghanistan, including Afghan transit trade and grain supply, urging the Afghan Taliban to reconsider their support for Indian proxies against Pakistan.
