Islamabad: Amb. Waheed Ahmad, a former diplomat, emphasized the significance of the 21st Extraordinary Session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers, describing it as a crucial platform for expressing a unified and forceful voice from the Muslim world against Israeli actions. He highlighted the importance of the forum in addressing Israeli aggression, occupation, and the ongoing situation in Palestine.
According to Radio Pakistan, Amb. Ahmad stressed that the Muslim world needs to send a strong message to Israel to end the violence in Gaza. He advocated for the implementation of the Two-State Solution and the recognition of Palestine as a separate state by Israel and the international community as essential steps towards achieving lasting peace in the Middle East. Furthermore, he noted the encouraging development of Israeli citizens opposing the policies of Prime Minister Netanyahu and the actions of Israeli forces in Gaza.
