Analyst Hails Govt’s Resolve to Economic Reforms


Islamabad: Economic reforms were overdue since long and formation of National Regulatory Authority was condition of IMF and other donor agencies. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has repeatedly pressed on need of spilling blood and sweat to achieve the set targets and converting the dreams into reality. I think that corruption can only be overcome through automization and tight regulation system. Now we are more area specific reform stage like energy reforms and others. Once these reforms continue to be on, it will bring ease of doing business in Pakistan, which will definitely invite foreign direct investment in Pakistan.



According to Radio Pakistan, the implementation of these reforms is seen as a critical step in addressing long-standing economic challenges. The emphasis on automization and a stringent regulatory framework is expected to help combat corruption, which has been a significant hurdle in economic progress. The focus has shifted to specific areas such as energy, with the aim of improving efficiency and sustainability.



The ongoing reform process is anticipated to create a more conducive environment for business operations in Pakistan. This improvement is likely to attract foreign direct investment, providing a much-needed boost to the country’s economy. The efforts of the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, are aligned with the requirements set by international bodies like the IMF, ensuring a collaborative approach to economic stabilization and growth.
