Islamabad: Dr. Abdullah Hamid Gul, a defense analyst, has criticized the Afghan Taliban regime for allegedly supporting terrorism that is sponsored by India. He highlighted the recent visit of Pakistan's Interior Minister to Wana, which was intended to boost the morale of security personnel following a successful operation against terrorists. This operation reportedly resulted in zero human casualties. According to Radio Pakistan, Dr. Gul stated that another terrorist attack in Islamabad involved significant involvement from New Delhi. He accused the Taliban of inaction against terrorist groups, which now pose threats across Central Asia. A United Nations report indicates that over two dozen terrorist organizations are being harbored in Afghanistan by the Taliban government, utilizing weapons left by the United States valued at ten billion dollars. Dr. Gul emphasized the role of Indian elements in financing and supporting terrorism across several countries, including Pakistan, Nepal, the United States, Canad a, and Qatar. The analyst stressed that Pakistan is ready to counter Indian-sponsored terrorism and urged the international community to take the issue seriously. He conveyed a message from Pakistan's army chief, warning that any misadventures from terrorists or India would be met with a strong response. He also called on the Afghan people to oppose their government's alliances that could harm Muslim solidarity.
