Islamabad: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir’s decisive move to eliminate all forms of terrorism, both internal and external, has been strongly supported by Dr. Muhammad Khan, an international relations expert. Dr. Khan emphasized that there can be no tolerance for terrorist groups such as the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), noting their role in the bloodshed of civilians and armed forces personnel. He highlighted the dangerous role of these groups acting as foreign proxies causing harm to Pakistanis and insisted that any sympathies toward them should be scrutinized for national loyalty.

According to Radio Pakistan, Dr. Khan detailed how both India and Afghanistan have formed an alliance against Pakistan, with India utilizing Afghan soil to further its interests. Indian trainers, financers, and arms suppliers are reportedly present in Afghanistan, and the Afghan Taliban regime is accused of supporting these terrorist groups against Pakistan. Dr. Khan urged the Pakistani nation to unite in what he described as a
holy war against terrorism, calling for active public vigilance to thwart terrorist activities. He criticized the Chief Minister of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, urging him to act in the national interest and support security forces rather than compromise national security by harboring terrorists.

Dr. Khan also commented on the historical context of terrorism in India, pointing out that organizations like RSS and Bajrang Dal have been banned multiple times for their agendas. He accused the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of having roots in such groups and criticized their treatment of minorities, especially Muslims, citing forced conversions and the construction of a Hindu temple at the site of the Babari Masjid as examples of their oppression. Dr. Khan concluded by stressing the need for national unity and support for the military’s operations against terrorism to achieve stability in Pakistan.
