Islamabad: Minister for National Health Services Mustafa Kamal has announced that all concerns surrounding the syllabus of the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) have been effectively addressed. Speaking to media representatives in Islamabad, he conveyed his confidence that the upcoming MDCAT, scheduled for the 26th of this month, will stand out as one of the best exams conducted in the nation’s history.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council has collaborated with various stakeholders to develop a common syllabus, ensuring that there will be no out-of-syllabus questions this year. Mustafa Kamal detailed that a comprehensive question bank comprising six thousand questions has been assembled from the common syllabus, with each province receiving three different sets of examination papers. It is now the responsibility of each province to select the paper they will employ for the examination.
The Minister further informed that a total of 140,290 candidates have registered for the MDCAT, while there are twenty-two thousand seats available. To facilitate the smooth conduct of the test, thirty-three centers have been established across the country.
