Islamabad: Prime Minister's Advisor on Political and Public Affairs Rana Sanaullah Khan has assured that all possible medical facilities will be provided to the PTI founder. He was responding to points raised by the Leader of the Opposition in the Senate today.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Advisor stated that a report submitted to the Supreme Court by Amicus Curiae Salman Safdar has confirmed the provision of all necessary facilities, including cleanliness, kitchen arrangements, and the provision of meals for the PTI founder in prison. Rana Sanaullah emphasized that the report dispels any negative propaganda regarding the treatment of the PTI founder and assured that measures will be taken in accordance with the report and the directions of the apex court.
Furthermore, Rana Sanaullah urged the opposition to refrain from politicizing the health of any individual. Meanwhile, the House passed three bills, including "The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2026," "The Newspaper Employees (Conditions of Service) (Amendment) Bill, 2026," and "The Pakistan Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2026." The House has been adjourned to meet again tomorrow at 10:30 in the morning.
