Lahore: All Hajj applications submitted under the Government Hajj Scheme have been approved, as announced by the Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Chaudhry Salik Hussain. According to Radio Pakistan, the announcement confirmed that all applications received from the 18th of last month until Tuesday have been accepted. The Minister also stated that the deadline for submitting Hajj applications has been extended until the 10th of this month. In the event that applications exceed the government's quota, a balloting process will be organized. Furthermore, Chaudhry Salik Hussain mentioned that all applications under the Sponsorship Scheme have been approved without any balloting. He urged overseas Pakistanis to deposit the sponsorship fee by the 10th of this month. Prospective pilgrims can submit their Hajj applications through the online portal available on the Ministry's website. Additionally, they are encouraged to download the Pak Hajj Mobile App to receive new instructions.
