Ali Pervaiz Reaffirms Pakistan’s Support to China’s Sovereignty


Islamabad: Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik has reaffirmed Pakistan’s full support to China’s sovereignty. He made these remarks while speaking with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zedong during a visit to the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad. The meeting focused on enhancing strategic relations between the two countries, with specific emphasis on cooperation in the energy and minerals sectors.



According to Radio Pakistan, Ali Pervaiz Malik extended an invitation to the Chinese Ambassador to attend the upcoming Pakistan Mineral Investment Forum 2026. During the discussions, Ambassador Jiang Zedong emphasized China’s commitment to supporting Pakistan’s economic development, highlighting mining as a key area of collaboration. He noted that Chinese companies, including the Metallurgical Corporation of China and C-NAK, are actively engaged in Pakistan’s mining sector.



Ambassador Jiang mentioned the significance of the Saindak and Siyadak mineral projects, which are part of China’s substantial investments in Pakistan’s mineral sector. He assured that he would encourage leaders of relevant Chinese institutions to participate in the Pakistan Mineral Investment Forum 2026, further solidifying the strong bilateral ties between the two nations.
