Islamabad: Minister for Petroleum, Ali Pervaiz Malik, has expressed the government’s firm resolve to promote interfaith harmony. He made this commitment while addressing a special ceremony organized by the Oil and Gas Development Company in Islamabad, held in connection with Christmas celebrations.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister emphasized that the celebration of Christmas reflects unity and mutual respect and stated that no one should face discrimination based on religion. Ali Pervaiz Malik praised the dedication and hard work of the workforce serving the country tirelessly, highlighting that the Christian community within the Petroleum Sector is an integral part of the national workforce.

He further articulated that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the incumbent government firmly believe that true progress can only be achieved through inclusive growth, where every segment of society is given equal importance. Ali Pervaiz Malik also extended heartfelt Christmas greetings to the Christian community on behalf of the Government of Pakistan and the Petroleum Division.
