Aleem Khan Directs National Highways to Stay Open Amid Snowfall

Islamabad: Minister for Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, has directed the National Highway Authority (NHA) to ensure that all national highways remain open and fully operational during the ongoing snowfall. This directive comes as parts of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan experience significant snowfall, potentially impacting road conditions.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister has instructed NHA field staff to stay on high alert and maintain continuous monitoring of weather conditions in areas affected by snowfall. The proactive measures are aimed at preventing any disruptions in highway operations and ensuring the safety of travelers during the harsh weather conditions.

Abdul Aleem Khan emphasized that in the event of any road closures or emergencies, citizens should promptly contact the NHA for assistance.
