AJKLA Approves No-Confidence Motion Against PM Anwar-ul-Haq


Muzaffarabad: Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly has approved a No-Confidence Motion against Prime Minister Chaudhary Anwar ul Haq. The special session of the legislative Assembly took place in Muzaffarabad this evening.



According to Radio Pakistan, thirty-six members supported the motion while two votes were against it. Faisal Mumtaz Rathore of the PPP has been elected as the new Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Earlier, member legislative assembly Chaudhary Qasim Majeed presented the No-Confidence Motion in the house. The members also debated on the motion.



Chaudhary Anwar ul Haq, in his speech, expressed gratitude towards the members of the assembly for their cooperation during his tenure as he managed the affairs of the state.
