Islamabad: Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif met a high-level delegation of Alibaba Cloud in China today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting discussed a potential strategic partnership between the Punjab government and Alibaba Cloud for utilizing AI in public services, specifically in agriculture, healthcare, socio-economic programs, and climate forecasting.

Maryam Nawaz stated that the Punjab government is actively integrating AI into its governance framework to enhance public service delivery and efficiency. This initiative aims to leverage advanced technology to streamline various public sectors, ensuring improved outcomes for the citizens of Punjab.

Additionally, discussions during the meeting included matters regarding small and medium enterprises and exploring economic opportunities for overseas Pakistanis. These discussions signify the government's commitment to fostering economic growth and supporting Pakistani expatriates in contributing to their home economy.
