Narowal: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has emphasized the indispensable role women play in the development of society. Speaking at the Dhee Rani Program ceremony in Narowal today, he commended the initiative spearheaded by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal highlighted that the Dhee Rani Program assists parents in fulfilling their responsibilities toward their daughters. He stressed that marriage is a crucial social obligation and underscored the collective duty to protect daughters. Furthermore, he noted that Islam accords women a special status, and the program aims to eradicate outdated social attitudes.

Condemning the recent blast in Islamabad, Ahsan Iqbal called for joint efforts to foster peace and harmony within society.
