Islamabad: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has emphasized embracing Artificial Intelligence (AI) across all sectors to boost productivity and remain competitive globally. Chairing a meeting of the AI task force in Islamabad today (Tuesday), he highlighted the significance of integrating AI into various industries to improve efficiency and global standing.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal discussed the recently launched initiative, Uraan Pakistan, by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The initiative aims to set the country on a path of fast and sustainable growth. He pointed out that the central focus of Uraan Pakistan is to align future development strategies with the goal of enhancing exports.
Furthermore, Ahsan Iqbal stated that exports could be significantly improved by strengthening the country’s capacity in Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence. The minister stressed the importance of these sectors in driving economic growth and positioning Pakistan as a competitive player in the global market.
