Kabul: Afghan Taliban have issued a stern warning to Fitna-al-Khwarij, emphasizing that engaging in combat in any foreign nation, particularly against Pakistan, is not permissible under the directives of the Ameer. The announcement was made by Afghan Taliban Commander Saeedullah Saeed during a police officers’ passing-out ceremony.
According to Radio Pakistan, Commander Saeedullah Saeed highlighted that individuals joining various groups to wage Jihad abroad are not true Mujahideen. He further stated that labeling such individuals as Mujahid, who conduct attacks from one location to another, is inaccurate. He clarified that the authority to declare or grant permission for Jihad lies solely with the Ameer of the State, not with any group or individual.
The Commander stressed that it constitutes religious disobedience to travel to Pakistan for combat if the leadership of the State has prohibited such actions. He warned that waging Jihad driven by personal ego or group affiliation would be classified as anarchy under Shariah law. Groups conducting attacks under the guise of Jihad are considered disobedient to both Shariah and the Afghan Emirate.
Defence analysts suggest that Commander Saeedullah Saeed’s statement bolsters Pakistan’s internal security, narrative, and diplomatic stance on the global stage. They argue that the so-called Jihad of the Khwarij, influenced by Indian proxies, equates to terrorism against Shariah, the State, and peace.
