Islamabad: Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar has affirmed that addressing the problems faced by the legal fraternity remains the top priority for the law ministry, promising comprehensive support to resolve their legitimate issues.
According to Radio Pakistan, the law minister conveyed this commitment during a meeting with delegations from the bar associations of southern Punjab, held in Islamabad. The discussions focused extensively on the welfare of lawyers, the challenges encountered by bar associations, and effective solutions to these problems.
The Minister stressed the importance of confining bar politics within the confines of the bars, to preserve the impartial identity of the legal institution. He highlighted that the longstanding issue of court fees has now been resolved, and that initiatives such as E-libraries and solarization projects are currently underway to further support the legal community.
Azam Nazeer Tarar assured all bar representatives that their issues would be prioritized and addressed promptly, reiterating his commitment to the welfare and development of the legal fraternity.
