Lahore: Provincial Disaster Management Authority Punjab has announced that the seventh spell of monsoon rains will persist in the province until Sunday. According to Radio Pakistan, the PDMA spokesperson stated that rains are anticipated in the upper regions of Punjab starting today. The authority has issued instructions to Civil Defense, Rescue 1122, and other relevant institutions to ensure that emergency control room staff remain vigilant and disaster response teams are maintained on high alert.
