Lahore: The 53rd Common Training Programme (CTP) at the Civil Services Academy in Lahore has successfully brought together probationers from various regions of Pakistan, reflecting a commitment to national unity and diversity. Director General of the Civil Services Academy, Farhan Aziz Khawaja, emphasized the programme's role in uniting individuals from Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir as they completed their comprehensive training.
According to Radio Pakistan, Farhan Aziz Khawaja addressed the annual dinner held in honor of the probationers, highlighting the collective dedication and professionalism of the Civil Services Academy team and the trainee officers. He paid tribute to the families of the probationers for their sacrifices in supporting their children's journey into public service.
The Director General praised the contributions of the Academy's Additional Directors, Deputy Directors, and Academic Group In-Charges. He recognized their efforts in training reforms and effective programme management and acknowledged the administrative, finance, security, and medical staff for their round-the-clock dedication.
Recalling his visit to Balochistan, Khawaja assured parents that the Academy would transform their children into capable public servants, a promise reflected in the ceremony. The probationers' visits to policymaking institutions in Islamabad and Lahore were aimed at preparing them for future leadership roles in governance and public policy.
The probationers also interacted with renowned industrialist Syed Babar Ali, gaining valuable insights for their careers. Dr. Syed Shabbir Akbar Zaidi, Director of the Common Training Programme and Capacity Building, reported that the 53rd CTP comprised 136 probationers, including 74 women and 62 men, with 52 participants from Balochistan.
Director Administration and Finance Bilal Akram highlighted the Academy's provision of modern facilities and a conducive learning environment. At the ceremony's conclusion, Radio Pakistan's correspondent Qasim Bukhari reported that probationers reaffirmed their commitment to serve the nation with integrity by reciting a couplet from Allama Iqbal's poetry.
The event also featured a documentary showcasing the 53rd CTP's training journey and an awards ceremony honoring outstanding performers, including Mahnoor Baloch and Zoha Tawana.
