According to Radio Pakistan, Jhara was one of Pakistan's leading wrestlers, maintaining an impressive record of remaining undefeated in more than 60 domestic and international matches. His prowess in the ring earned him prestigious titles such as Fakhar-e-Pakistan and Rustam-e-Pakistan, highlighting his significant contributions to the sport in Pakistan. Jhara Pehlwan's life and career were cut short when he passed away on this day in 1991 in Lahore, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire wrestlers and fans alike.
