Pakistani Startup ‘atomcamp’ Shines at LEAP 2025 in Saudi Arabia


Riyadh: A Pakistani startup, atomcamp, is making waves at LEAP 2025, one of the world’s biggest technology events. The AI training pioneer is being featured by Saudi authorities as part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 initiative to transform its workforce for the AI-driven future.

According to Radio Pakistan, atomcamp’s move into Saudi Arabia is more than just market expansion; it’s about empowering the Saudi youth. The startup is launching atomcamp Arabia in collaboration with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), a step that underscores the Kingdom’s commitment to AI education.

At the event, atomcamp is also showcasing ‘myAIpath’, a unique, personalized AI learning tool designed to help professionals across different fields master AI in a way that suits their careers. The tool offers a tailored roadmap, guiding users from various sectors like software engineering, medicine, and finance to seamlessly integrate AI into their work.

Pakistan’s Economy Improving at Macroeconomic Level: PM


Dubai: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has stated that the foundation of Pakistan’s economy at the macroeconomic level has been gradually improving since last year. Speaking to Pakistani investors and businessmen in Dubai, he highlighted a decrease in inflation to 2.4 percent in January this year, while the policy rate stands at 12 percent.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister noted that Pakistan’s exports, including IT exports, are on the rise, and foreign remittances have reached a record high of three billion dollars in January this year. He attributed the stability in Pakistan’s economic landscape at the macroeconomic level to an agreement with the International Monetary Fund.



The Prime Minister emphasized the government’s target of achieving economic growth and the need to continue heading in the right direction. He identified key areas for accelerating economic growth, such as mines and minerals, information technology and artificial intelligence, agriculture, and converting production into value-added products.



Shehbaz Sharif pointed out that Pakistan is endowed with abundant mines and mineral reserves worth trillions of dollars, mentioning substantial progress in this sector. Regarding Information Technology, he highlighted that sixty percent of the population, aged between fifteen to thirty years, are youth. He stressed the importance of providing proper training in Artificial Intelligence and Information Technology to create job opportunities that can significantly boost the economy.



Addressing the agriculture sector, the Prime Minister acknowledged that Pakistan has been blessed with vast agricultural resources, yet this potential remained untapped for decades. He announced the government’s initiative to send one thousand fresh agriculture graduates to China for training in various agricultural fields, funded by the government of Pakistan.



Elaborating on the challenge of converting production into value-added products, Shehbaz Sharif admitted Pakistan’s lag in this area but assured that the government is making concerted efforts to address the issue.



The Prime Minister concluded by urging complete dedication and commitment to these focus areas, stating that it is teamwork that can transform society and help the nation compensate for past shortcomings while moving forward with speed.

Pakistani, Malaysian FMs Discuss Middle East Situation


Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Malaysian Foreign Minister Dato Seri Utama Haji Mohamad Bin Haji Hasan and discussed the recent situation in the Middle East region, particularly the humanitarian situation in Gaza. The Deputy Prime Minister expressed Pakistan’s steadfast support for the Palestinian people and their just cause.



According to Radio Pakistan, he also conveyed Pakistan’s support for the convening of an Extraordinary OIC meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers to discuss the urgent issue.

Pakistan and Belarus to Enhance Cooperation in Key Sectors


Minsk: Pakistan and Belarus have agreed on enhancing collaboration across key sectors. The decision was taken at the 8th Session of the Pakistan-Belarus Joint Ministerial Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation held in Minsk, Belarus.



According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting was co-chaired by Belarusian Minister for Energy, Aleksey Kushnarenko, and Pakistan’s Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal Khan. During the meeting, discussions were held to further strengthen the economic, commercial, and technical ties between the two countries.



The two sides agreed to enhance cooperation on labor migration issues, focusing on labor mobility and protecting workers’ rights. They committed to finalizing Memorandums of Understanding to establish a framework for cooperation and to create opportunities for skilled workforce exchange.



Satisfaction was expressed over ongoing projects, including joint assembly plants for energy-efficient tractors and electric buses. The countries also agreed to expand industrial cooperation in agricultural machinery, transportation, and industrial equipment. They pledged to collaborate on healthcare, pharmaceuticals, seed production, livestock, veterinary medicine, and fisheries to boost food security and trade.



Additionally, Pakistan and Belarus agreed to renew the cooperation agreement between the National State Television and Radio Company of Belarus and Pakistan Television Corporation, promoting exchanges in media and journalism. The two countries also decided to promote tourism by exchanging information on tourism products and inviting representatives to exhibitions and forums.



The meeting witnessed participation from senior officials and diplomats of both countries, who engaged in detailed deliberations on key areas of bilateral cooperation.

Multilateral Cooperation Vital to Tackle Global Challenges: Romina


Islamabad: Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Climate Change Romina Khurshid Alam has emphasized the importance of multilateral cooperation in addressing global challenges. She highlighted Pakistan’s active efforts to work with international partners in mobilizing resources for climate-resilient infrastructure.



According to Radio Pakistan, Romina Khurshid Alam addressed an event where she reiterated the government’s commitment to mitigating the impacts of climate change and enhancing adaptation efforts. She detailed that Pakistan has developed a national adaptation plan focusing on strengthening resilience in critical sectors such as water, agriculture, and disaster management. Furthermore, she mentioned the Living Indus initiative, a significant program aimed at restoring the ecological health of the Indus basin.

Concluding Ceremony of AMAN Dialogue Held in Karachi


Karachi: The concluding ceremony of AMAN DIALOGUE in an ongoing five-day Naval Exercise AMAN-25 organized by the Pakistan Navy was held in Karachi today. Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal was the chief guest of the ceremony.



According to Radio Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal, while addressing the ceremony, commended the holding of AMAN-DIALOGUE for maritime security and mentioned that it serves as a platform for sharing mutual experiences. He emphasized the multiple challenges the region faces, including climate change.



The Planning Minister further stated that the maritime sector can contribute significantly to achieving consistent progress and stressed the importance of promoting maritime trade for progress and prosperity.



Deputy Chief of Pakistan Naval Staff Operations, Vice Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz, highlighted the necessity of maritime security for future progress. He urged for joint efforts and collaboration to tackle the current challenges, particularly human and arms smuggling.



Naval Chief Bangladesh Admiral Nazam Ul Hasan, Fleet Commander Australian Navy Rear Admiral Christopher Smith, and renowned Maritime expert Dr. Christian Bogar also addressed the ceremony.
