Cairo: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of Egypt Badr Abdelatty, today. They discussed the developments in Gaza, including the critical humanitarian situation impacting millions of Palestinian residents.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and also expressed Pakistan’s full solidarity with Egypt. He also conveyed Pakistan’s support for convening an Extraordinary OIC meeting of Council of Foreign Ministers to deliberate upon this issue.



The two Ministers agreed to maintain close contact on these developments in the days ahead.

AMAN Dialogue Begins in Karachi with Focus on Maritime Security, Blue Economy


Karachi: The two-day AMAN Dialogue, a maiden event conducted as an adjunct to Exercise AMAN 2025, commenced at Pakistan Naval Academy in Karachi today [Sunday]. The dialogue, organized under the aegis of the Pakistan Navy, has brought together Chiefs and Heads of Navies, Maritime Organizations, and renowned academicians from around the globe.



According to Radio Pakistan, the inaugural session was attended by the Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, as the Chief Guest. In his welcome address, Chief of the Naval Staff underscored the significance of the AMAN Dialogue. He emphasized the need for sharing experiences among maritime nations to formulate actionable strategies for countering emerging maritime threats.



In his keynote address, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed applauded Pakistan Navy’s efforts in promoting a collaborative approach to tackle complex maritime security challenges. He also highlighted Navy’s contributions towards raising awareness about Blue Economy and supporting the socio-economic uplift of coastal communities at the national level.



Under the overarching theme, “Secure Seas, Prosperous Future,” the AMAN Dialogue features multiple panel discussions and deliberations by Chiefs of Navies and heads of delegations on a wide range of topics. These topics include maritime security, maritime cooperation, blue economy, and the impact of technology on maritime security. The dialogue provides an exclusive platform for global naval leadership, supported by renowned academia, to devise strategies for a secure maritime future.



On the sidelines of the AMAN Dialogue, Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, held interactive meetings with Heads of Navies and Coast Guards attending the event. These meetings focused on contemporary maritime issues, matters of mutual interest, and prospects for enhanced maritime collaboration.

Pakistan Condemns Israeli PM’s Suggestion for Palestinian State in Saudi Arabia


Islamabad: Pakistan has strongly condemned, in unequivocal terms, the recent statement by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu suggesting that the Palestinian people should establish a state in Saudi Arabia. In a statement today, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar criticized the remarks as irresponsible, provocative, and thoughtless, emphasizing that they are deeply offensive and undermine the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to self-determination and an independent State on their historical and legitimate territory.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, commending its steadfast support for the Palestinian people and their just cause. He highlighted that any attempt to undermine Saudi Arabia’s unwavering position and misrepresent its commitment to the Palestinian cause is deeply regrettable.



Ishaq Dar asserted that Pakistan firmly believes in the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent and sovereign state based on the pre-1967 borders, with Al Quds Al Sharif as its capital. He rejected any proposal that seeks to displace or relocate the Palestinian people from their ancestral homeland, labeling it a blatant violation of international law, United Nations resolutions, and the principles of justice and fairness.



Furthermore, the Government of Pakistan reiterated its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, pledging to continue working closely with Saudi Arabia and other members of the international community to advocate for the rights of the Palestinian people. The goal is to achieve a just, comprehensive, and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue.



The Deputy Prime Minister urged the international community to denounce the provocative remark and hold Israel accountable for its continued attempts to undermine the peace process.

FonGrow Conducts Training Program Under Supervision Of Foreign Experts


Khanewal: FonGrow has conducted a successful three-week training program under the supervision of foreign experts with the support of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).



According to Radio Pakistan, during the program, fifteen participants received training in advanced techniques such as Ovum pick-up, In vitro fertilization, and Embryo transfer.



A certificate distribution ceremony was held in Khanewal, where representatives from educational institutions, along with farmers, attended the event.



The primary goal of the training program was to promote the livestock sector in Pakistan, enhance animal breeding practices, and foster professional development.

Registration for 2nd Phase of Punjab Dhee Rani Program Begins


Lahore: After the successful completion of the first phase of the Punjab Dhee Rani Program, the registration for the second phase, which includes 1500 mass weddings, has commenced. Applications can be submitted either online at cmp.punjab.gov.pk, by hand, or at the office of the Deputy Director of Social Welfare in the respective district. A helpline, 1312, has been established to provide guidance regarding this program.



According to Radio Pakistan, under the program, the Punjab Government will provide meals for the bride, groom, and their close relatives. Additionally, the newlywed couples will receive a monetary gift, known as Salaami, worth one hundred thousand rupees via ATM card, along with essential furniture and clothing.



In relation to this initiative, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz stated that addressing the issues faced by deserving and deprived segments of society is a governmental responsibility.
