Pak Army organizes free autism screening camp in Aliabad, Hunza

Free Autism Screening Camp was organized by Pakistan Army at District Headquarters Hospital in Aliabad, Hunza. A lecture was also arranged in the camp on autism awareness for people and parents. First-ever Federal Foundational Learning Policy launched in Islamabad

The first-ever Federal Foundational Learning Policy was launched in Islamabad today. The policy is aimed at ensuring all children enrolled in schools under the federal territories to acquire foundational learning skills by 2030. It will apply to all government schools, private schools, non-formal education centers and madaris in Islamabad Capital Territory, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. This policy is part of a national movement to improve basic reading and numeracy skills for Pakistan's children. Each province is in the process of developing its own foundational learning policies. The event was led by Federal Secretary Mohyuddin Wani, and attended by key development partners, university vice-chancellors, parliamentarians and partner organizations working on education in Pakistan. Federal Govt committed to resolve all issues of KP on priority basis: Tanveer

Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain has assured that the Federal Government is committed to resolving all the pending issues of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on a priority basis. Talking to Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi in Islamabad today, he said the Federal Government will extend all possible assistance to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to address economic as well as law and order issues. Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is lagging in the race for development, despite having an abundance of resources. He said public issues will have to be addressed by improving performance in agriculture and industrial development.
