President condemns tragic incident of killing of bus passengers in Nushki

Funeral prayers of Nushki terror attack victims offered

Funeral prayer of the martyred persons in the Noshki terrorist incident was offered at the Police Line in Quetta. Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti, members of provincial assembly, high officials of Police and Frontier Corps Balochistan attended the funeral. Over 3000 Sikh Yatrees arrive in Pakistan for Besakhi Mela

Over three thousand Sikh yatrees from India arrived Pakistan through Wagha border today to participate in Besakhi Mela. The officials of Evacuee Trust Property Board received the yatrees. During their stay in Pakistan, yatrees will visit their religious places at Hassanabdal, Nankana Sahib, Narowal, Eminabad and Badami Bagh Lahore, through special trains. All the arrangements including accommodation, security, transport and medical for yatrees have been completed by ETPB. Talking to the newsmen at the Wagah border, Party leader Kulant Singh and Deputy Party Leader Amarjit Singh thanked the government of Pakistan and the Evacuee Trust Property Board and said that they are very happy to come to Pakistan. They said that millions of Sikhs are eager to come to Pakistan for the yatra. The main event of Baisakhi Mela will be held tomorrow at Gurudwara Panja Sahib Hasan Abdal. Seerat Museum will help combat Islamophobia: PM

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said the Seerat Museum will help impart ethical education and combat Islamophobia. He made these remarks while addressing the foundation stone ceremony of the Seerat Museum in Islamabad tonight. The Prime Minister emphasized that the establishment of the Seerat Museum will provide valuable insight into the virtuous life of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) for the younger generation. Expressing appreciation for the valuable contributions of Saudi Arabia towards the construction of the Seerat Museum, he said that such projects solidify the collaboration between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He thanked the Saudi leadership for demonstrating their love for Pakistan through projects like the Faisal Mosque and the Seerat Museum, as well as for their assistance during difficult times. He also thanked Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz, as well as the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, for generously hosting his delegation during his recent t rip to Saudi Arabia. Heavy rainfall in Punjab, KP, Balochistan claims 23 lives

Heavy rainfall has killed twenty three people including two children, in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab. Rainfall lashed parts of Balochistan, including Quetta, Chaman Chagai, Nushki, Dera Bugti, Sorab, Kohlu, and Khuzdar. Heavy rainfall also lashed southern Punjab, including Multan, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Dera Ismail Khan, Malakand, Mohmand, and Kohat districts also received downpours. Low-lying areas in Quetta flooded after heavy rainfall. Rainfall was also reported in Mastung, Kalat, Nushki, Pishin, Kharan, Qila Abdullah, and Kachhi. The Provincial Disaster Management Authority Balochistan reported that two children died in a thunderbolt in Sorab district. Rainfall with thunderstorms in Upper and Lower Chitral demolished two houses, while landslides and flash floods suspended vehicular traffic at Chitral, Garam Chashma, upper Chitral, and Torkho road. Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has directed all civic agencies to keep rain drains and drainage system clean. He also directed the Disaster Management Authority to coordinate with all civic agencies. On the other hand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has directed all the district administrations and rescue organizations to stay alert to deal with any untoward situation. In a statement in Peshawar today, he directed to make necessary arrangements to minimize life and property losses. The Chief Minister also took notice of closure of the Bahrain-Kalam road due to land sliding in Swat.
