Jawad calls for increasing employment opportunities in Saudi Healthcare sector

Special Assistant on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Jawad Sohrab Malik has underlined the need for increased employment opportunities in Saudi Healthcare sector for Pakistani professionals.

He was talking to the CEO of a leading Saudi Health Care Company Dallah Hospitals Dr. Ahmad Bin Saleh Babaeer in Saudi Arabia along with Pakistan Ambassador.

During the meeting, the CEO recognized the work quality of Pakistani doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff working in their hospitals.

He expressed keen interest in more recruitment from Pakistan and agreed on developing training and orientation mechanisms for Pakistani healthcare professionals to effectively engage them in the Saudi healthcare sector.

Imam-e-Kaaba visits new campus of IIUI

Imam-e-Kaaba Dr Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid visited the new campus of the International Islamic University Islamabad.

He was accompanied by IIUI President, Dr Hathal Homoud Alotaibi who briefed him about the male and female campuses, faculties and facilities.

Imam-e-Kaaba also visited the site for King Salman bin Abdul Aziz grand mosque. He was briefed on the occasion that the mosque will be built at the cost of around 32 million dollars.

He was told that there will be an ample capacity in the inner hall of the Mosque where as many as 4000 male and 2000 female will offer prayer, while the yard will also have a capacity to accommodate 6000 people.

There will be a library and a museum, while there will also be a Muhammad bin Salman Auditorium for conferences in the Mosque.

Harvesting at country’s first corporate farm begins

First harvesting season has begun at country's maiden corporate farm launched under the Green Pakistan Initiative by the Special Investment Facilitation Council.

The first-ever modern agriculture farm, under the umbrella of FonGrow, was inaugurated by the Prime Minister and the chief of the army staff in July this year at Pirowal in Khanewal district.

The first crop in this farm has become ripe and the harvesting process is underway. Modern and state of the art machinery is being used in the harvesting process.

FonGrow is the first corporate farm producing agri-yield under the Green Pakistan Initiative.
