Quetta: The Balochistan government’s Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI) has emerged as a significant tool in fostering sustainable development within the province. The initiative has been instrumental in addressing the developmental needs of the region, particularly focusing on remote and underdeveloped areas.
According to Radio Pakistan, the BSDI has allocated five billion rupees for a total of 137 projects distributed across five districts in Southern Balochistan. This substantial investment underscores the government’s commitment to improving infrastructure and basic facilities in these regions. As part of the initiative, thirteen development projects have already been completed, marking a significant milestone in the overarching Balochistan Development Program.
The primary aim of the Balochistan Development Program is to ensure that basic facilities are accessible in the most remote and underdeveloped areas of the province. The completion of these projects signifies progress in achieving this goal, thereby contributing to the overall development and betterment of the living conditions in these communities.
