Ten students of Gwadar Institute of Technology (GIT) have been selected to enroll in the diploma course of Associate Engineering at the Chinese Hebei Jiaotong Vocational and Technical College. The students hailed from several remote cities of Balochistan including Gwadar, Pasni, Turbat, Panjgur and Surab. The Government of Balochistan and Chinese company Tang sponsored this scholarship. The students held a meeting with Chinese Consul General in Karachi before the departure. They extended warm gratitude to the Balochistan Government and Pakistan Army for providing them a unique opportunity of higher education.
