15 killed as oil tanker collides with passenger van near Kohat tunnel

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, at least fifteen people were killed in a traffic accident in Kohat district on Thursday.

According to Rescue 1122, the accident happened when a trailer and a passenger van collided with each other on Indus highway near Kohat tunnel.

The rescue teams are shifting the bodies to the nearby hospital.

Death toll in Peshawar blast rises to 100

Five more persons injured in yesterday’s Peshawar police lines blast succumbed to their injuries thus raising the death toll to hundred.

According to the spokesman of Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar, presently fifty-three injured of the blast are under treatment at the hospital while seven are in the intensive caring unit.

Indian troops martyr two youth in IIOJK

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two youth in a fake encounter in Badgam district on Tuesday.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the personnel of Indian army and paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force stopped a vehicle at main Chowk near Badgam, dislodged the two youth and shot them to death on spot. The locals said youth were martyred by the troops in cold blood.

Meanwhile, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference leadership has said the present dispensation in India led by Narendra Modi is snatching properties and lands from locals as part of ethnic cleansing of Muslims and Dalits particularly in Jammu region.

APHC leaders Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori, Zamruda Habib, Yasmeen Raja, Fahrida Bahenji, Dr Musaib and Advocate Davinder Singh Behl in their statements in Srinagar and Jammu termed the drive as a big conspiracy of the Hindutva regime to uproot the two communities from the region.

Meanwhile, widespread protests were held in Jammu and parts of Kashmir valley against the ethnic eviction of the Kashmiris from their lands in the name of encroachment campaign.

The protesters said the latest move of the Modi regime to evict locals from so-called state land is yet another step of colonizing Jammu and Kashmir.

Two killed in Swabi gas incident

At least two people were killed when gas filled up in a room in Topi area of district Swabi today (Saturday).

According to Rescue 1122, a total of six people of the same family went unconscious due to incident, out of which two children lost their lives.

Three killed in Nowshera gas cylinder blast

Three persons were killed while four others injured in a gas cylinder blast at a house in Pabbi area of Nowshera on Thursday.

According to Rescue 1122, the roof of the house collapsed as a result of the blast resulting in casualties and injuries.

The bodies and injured have been shifted to a local hospital.

Pakistan Army fully capable of giving befitting response to enemy’s evil plans: Ashrafi

Prime Minister’s Special Representative on Interfaith Harmony Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Ashrafi has said Pakistan Army is fully capable of giving befitting response to the enemy’s evil plans.

Talking to APP, he commended the effective operation against terrorists at the Counter Terrorist Department Complex in Bannu.

He said Pakistan Army is leaving no stone unturned to deal with terrorists with iron hands.
