Two pilots martyred as PAF training aircraft crashes in Peshawar

A training aircraft of Pakistan Air Force crashed at PAF Base Peshawar this afternoon.

According to a spokesman of PAF, the aircraft FT-7PG was on routine training mission when it crashed while landing.

Both the pilots embraced martyrdom in the incident.

The PAF Headquarters has ordered an inquiry to determine the cause of crash.

Meanwhile, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has expressed deep grief over the sad demise of two PAF pilots.

In a statement issued in Peshawar today, he expressed sympathy with the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls.
