Karachi: Sindh cabinet has accorded approval of releasing an amount of 6.61 billion rupees for laying of railway line from Thar coal to Port Qasim. The approval was given in the meeting of Sindh Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah Karachi today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting was informed that the provincial government and Pakistan Railways have also signed a Memorandum of Understanding in this regard. The provincial cabinet also reviewed a solar home project under which two hundred fifty thousand solar kits will be provided free of cost to the poor households in the province.
