Shehbaz Sharif Directs Early Completion of Jinnah Medical Complex


Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the removal of all obstacles hindering the early completion of the Jinnah Medical Complex, emphasizing mutual cooperation among all concerned institutions. He issued these directives while presiding over a meeting in Islamabad to review the progress of the construction of the Jinnah Medical Complex and Research Center.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister expressed that the quality construction of the Jinnah Medical Complex, equipped with all modern medical facilities, has been completed under a well-planned strategy. He also instructed the establishment of a subsidiary medical center under the Jinnah Medical Complex to provide healthcare services to the local population.



Shehbaz Sharif further directed the engagement of need-based international experts to ensure that the complex meets global standards of healthcare and research excellence. During the meeting, it was briefed that the required land for the project has been acquired, and a design consultant has been finalized.



Additionally, the meeting highlighted that third-party validation would be carried out in line with the Prime Minister’s directives. The meeting was attended by Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Health Mustafa Kamal, Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema, and other senior officials.
