Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman has sanctioned 180 million rupees to extend service of Solid Waste Management Company (SWMC) to six districts.
The approval has been given during a meeting in Gilgit.
He directed concerned officials to set up company offices at Sost, Hunza, Nagar, Chilas and Gahkuch in Ghizer soon.
The CM said the company's services will be extended in Shigher and Kharmang in next phase.
