Preparations for a French-Libyan economic conference at the end of March

TRIPOLI (Yuna) - The Libyan presidential council, Ahmed Amaitiq, announced on Wednesday the start of preparations for a Libyan-French economic conference at the end of next March.

This came during a meeting with the Ambassador of France to Libya, Beatrice Biografia, at the headquarters of the Cabinet of Ministers in Tripoli, during which they discussed the prospects of cooperation between the two countries and ways of developing it in various fields.

The MP called on the French side to facilitate the work of joint committees between the two countries to make the conference a success.

For her part, the French ambassador expressed her country's desire to resume French companies working in the field of energy, health and infrastructure projects in Libya, demanding to address the debts of those companies with the Libyan authorities concerned
