Political stability can help cope with prevailing challenges: Governor Sindh
Karachi: Sindh Governor, Dr. Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan said on Sunday that the political stability can help cope with the prevailing challenges which are being confronted to the country. He was talking to media during visit to mausoleum of the Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on Independence Day of the country here on Sunday.
He said leaders of all political parties in the province of Sindh jointly visited Mazar-e-Quaid on 65th Independence Day of Pakistan to show political unity.
Talking to media, Dr. Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan congratulated the nation on the ‘Yom-e-Azadi’.
He said the political leadership in the country and all leaders are playing their role to cope with the challenges confronted to the country.
The Sindh Governor expressed gratitude to leaders of the MQM, ANP, PML-F, PML-Q and PPP for showing their unity by jointly visiting the Mazar-e-Quaid.
He said the political unity is imperative to resolve the problems which are being faced by the countrymen.
Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Sindh Home Minister, Manzoor Hussain Wassan, Sindh Minister for Local Bodies, Agha Siraj Durrani, Administrator Karachi, Fazal-ur- Rehman, DCO Karachi Muhammad Hussain Syed, MQM leaders, Syed Sardar Ahmed, Raza Haroon, Babar Ghauri, Abdul Haseeb, Rauf Siddiqi, PML-F Leader Imtiaz Sheikh, ANP leader, Ameer Nawab Khan, PML-Q leaders, Haleem Siddiqi, Ejaz Sheerazi and other notables were also present.
