Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited the residence of the late Senator Irfan Siddiqui, a distinguished intellectual and senior leader of the PML-N, to offer his condolences to the bereaved family.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister met with the elder son of the deceased, Imran Siddiqui, along with other family members. He extended his sympathies and offered Fateha for the departed soul, praying for the elevation of Irfan Siddiqui’s ranks and for strength and patience for the grieving family.

During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid homage to Irfan Siddiqui’s contributions to the nation, highlighting his significant impact on both political and intellectual fronts. He described Siddiqui as a humble and noble figure who made a lasting impression on the country’s history. The Prime Minister also acknowledged Siddiqui’s long-standing association with PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif and his dedication to the party.

Accompanying the Prime Minister were Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
