Petrol prices up by PkR 4.15 per litre

Karachi: The government has fixed the new prices of petrol at PkR 88.95/per litre (up by PkR 4.15/litre), diesel at PkR 94/litre (up by PkR 1.51/litre) and HOBC at PkR 112.65/litre (up by PkR 2.72/litre) while, the prices of Kerosine Oil and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) has been kept unchanged.

According to Alfalah Securities, the government had decided earlier to increase dealer’s commission and OMC’s margin on petroleum products over three phases and raised PkR 0.41/litre on petrol while PkR 0.70 on High Speed Diesel (HSD) under the first phase. The government at present has raised dealer’s margin on petrol by PkR 0.16/litre and High Speed Diesel (HSD) by PkR 0.23/litre under the second phase.
