Envoy of Dominica Emmanuel Nanthan has said that tourism, textile and steel sectors have the potential to improve two-way trade between Dominican Republic and Pakistan.
He was speaking at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
The Ambassador urged Pakistani businessmen to step into joint ventures with their Dominican counterparts.
He said that tourism industry of Dominica is playing a key role in economic growth.
The LCCI President Almas Hyder said that close working relations between the two countries will help achieve trade and economic targets.
He said that Dominica is a small island of North America and Pakistan is keen to explore its market for exports.
Pakistan has a wide range of exports items and Pakistan can cater the needs of Dominican market.
He called for regular interaction among the representatives of private sectors and exchange of trade & investment related data to achieve quick results. He said that it is a best time for Dominican Republic to enhance imports from Pakistan.
