Pakistan Condemns Atrocities in Sudan


Islamabad: Pakistan has condemned atrocities in Sudan. Speaking at a meeting of the UN Security Council, Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the UN Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad called for an urgent and decisive international action to stem the escalating violence and avert a deepening humanitarian calamity in Sudan.



According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Ahmad emphasized the need for the international community to act swiftly to address the worsening situation. He highlighted the pressing need for peace and stability in the region and urged all parties involved to prioritize dialogue and reconciliation.



The meeting underscored the significance of coordinated international efforts to provide humanitarian aid and support to those affected by the violence in Sudan. Ambassador Ahmad reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to working with global partners in seeking a peaceful resolution to the crisis.
