The fifth round of Pakistan-China Bilateral Consultations on Arms Control & Non-Proliferation was held in Beijing on 18 April 2018. The Pakistan delegation was led by Mr. Mohammad Kamran Akhtar, Director General (Arms Control and Disarmament) of Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Chinese side was led by Ambassador Wang Qun, Director General of the Arms Control Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.
The consultations covered a broad range of issues related to arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation, on which the two sides shared a commonality of perspectives.
