National Highway Authority contract, daily wages workers to be regularized
Islamabad: The Federal Minister for Communications Dr. Arbab Alamgir Khan Khalil has said that the present democratic government is bringing all its resources into use to timely complete all ongoing projects under National Highway Authority (NHA) in Baluchistan, and all Daily Wages and Contract Employees of NHA will be regularized during the current month.
He expressed these views while talking to media persons after a high level meeting in which Federal Secretary Communications Anwar Ahmad Khan, Joint Secretary Mathar Niaz Rana, Member Construction NHA Aurangzeb Khan, Chief Secretary Baluchistan, Inspector General of Police Baluchistan and other high officials participated.
Important decisions regarding security and ongoing projects in Baluchistan were made in the meeting. Dr. Arbab Alamgir Khan, while talking to the media, said that the present democratic government is doing its utmost to restore peace in Baluchistan. He said that work is going on at a rapid pace on all ongoing projects in Baluchistan and funds will be made available for all such projects till October 9th.
The Federal Minister for Communications said that the present democratic government is moving forward with the vision of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and they are doing their best to alleviate the sufferings and deprivations of smaller provinces.
The Minister said that when the PPP came into power, it had to face numerous challenges but with the passage of time it has overcome most of these challenges. He also said that the people should not pay attention to the baseless propaganda of undemocratic forces because these forces have always strengthened the hands of dictatorships.
The Minister said that today’s democracy in Pakistan is the reward for the great sacrifices of our leaders and now we will safeguard this democracy and freedom at all costs. In the end, he assured the people of Baluchistan that all ongoing projects under NHA in Baluchistan will be completed in time.
