Aid agencies say Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh are at risk for life-threatening floods in the approaching monsoon season. The Inter Sector Coordination Group said in its latest situation report that more than sixteen thousand refugees have been moved to safer areas.
It said the lack of sufficient safe space for at-risk refugees and lack of cyclone safe shelters, limits the possibilities for risk mitigation.
Most of the Rohigya refugees live in flimsy, bamboo-and-plastic structures in Bangladesh.
