Ministers, MPs laud Radio Pakistan’s initiative of mid-hour news bulletin

The Ministers and Parliamentarians have welcomed the mid hour news summary initiative taken by Radio Pakistan.

Talking with Radio Pakistan's News and Current Affairs Channel on Monday, Leader of the House in the Senate Raja Zafarul Haq said that Radio Pakistan is always my favorite medium and it has provided the nation Pakistan Television and other channels.

He said that Radio Pakistan has an importance in media and introduction of mid hour news summary is better option for latest news.

Senator Pervez Rasheed said that the new step taken by Radio Pakistan is a good initiative towards providing latest news to the masses.

Appreciating the new initiative Shiekh Rohail Asghar expressed hope that Radio Pakistan will continue its best way to aware the nation with latest news.

Mian Abdul Mannan said that Radio is playing a vital role in disseminating latest and authentic news in those areas where TV networks are not existed.

Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmad also applauded Radio Pakistan for launching mid-hour two minutes news summary from Monday.

In his message on the occasion, he said Radio Pakistan is the oldest and most credible medium of information in the country and its voice reaches out to the far-flung areas.

Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis Abdul Rehman Kanju in his message on the occasion said it will provide information about latest happenings and situation to the listeners.

Parliamentary Secretary for Climate Change Romina Khurshid Alam in her message said Radio is listened everywhere and this modern trend would attract more listeners.
