Met Office Forecasts Predominantly Dry Weather Across the Country


Islamabad: Mainly dry weather is expected over most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, cold conditions are likely during morning and night hours in hilly areas. Smog and shallow fog in patches may develop during morning and night over a few plain areas of Punjab.



According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature of major cities recorded this morning includes Islamabad and Muzaffarabad at seven degrees centigrade, Lahore at fifteen, Karachi at nineteen, Peshawar at eight, Quetta at zero, Gilgit at minus two, and Murree at six degrees centigrade.



The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates cold and dry weather in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, while Jammu is expected to experience dry weather. The temperatures recorded this morning were Srinagar, Shopian, and Baramula at minus one degree centigrade, Jammu at nine, Leh at minus seven, and Pulwama and Anantnag at minus two degrees centigrade.
